Our Log Habitats are a perfect addition to support wildlife!
Log Habitats are a good way to start off a micro environment suitable for all sorts of life. Beetles, worms, spiders, ants, woodlice, centipedes, millipedes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, small mammals, fungi, moss and lichens!
Piling up our Habitat Logs can create a maze of gaps and holes for all insects to crawl through and hide in. A wide range of wildlife will live off of the decaying wood and will enjoy the damp and dark environment. Wood piles are an attractive way to fill a quiet dark corner of your garden you are unsure what to do with. You will soon notice more birds appearing, woodpiles will boost the ecosystem and crete food sources for other wildlife.
Once started, this micro environment can be added to annually or biannually. Therefore supplying important environment for years to come.

Our resources are not from woodland areas and no sustainable habitats have been disturbed in the making or sourcing of our products. This wood will be burned or chipped if not used for our wildlife projects. Therefore saving this unique wood for all sorts of life to enjoy.
It is possible our products may contain some insect life and some fungi. Therefore it is important to place your habitat in your garden ASAP. Ideally within 24 hours of receipt.
